About The Position

We’re looking for an experienced Second Shift Machinist who has completed a CNC Machining Program and has a minimum of 3 years of solid machining experience. You will have the opportunity to work with an inspiring team of experienced Machinists and Engineers. This position is 100% onsite.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalency certified required.
3+ years or more of Machining background and/or experience in a machine shop.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future. The Company cannot offer employment to visa holders who require employer sponsorship in the future or cannot work now on a full-time basis.
Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.

Nice To Haves

Understanding of G and M Codes.
Able to understand and interpret blueprints and sketches.
Troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Set Up and operate CNC lathes and/or Milling machines and related equipment where programs, fixtures, and methods have been developed.
Work with our Engineers and Programmers to make all edits and adjustments as required to produce parts to work orders/blueprint specifications/sketches.
The ability to operate more than one machine in a cellular environment is required.
Demonstrate a working knowledge of feeds and speeds and a working knowledge of cutting tools and their application.
Inspect work for all dimensional features as required.
Produce quality and quantity of work in accordance with Company requirements.
Responsible for accurately completing paperwork relating to counts, scrap, time, etc. According to Company policy.
Perform duties always exercising good machining practices.
Maintain area, equipment and tooling in a neat, safe, orderly condition including operator maintenance sheets.
Maintain coolant tanks and fills as necessary.
Train, guide and assist other employees as required.
