About The Position

This role involves a variety of tasks related to the handling, storage, and shipping of parts, pumps, materials, and supplies. The Machinist II will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, ensuring a clean and organized work area, and performing other duties as assigned by leadership.

Requirements

• Proficiency in mathematics, including the use of charts, tables, various measuring instruments, and scales.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to define routine problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to interpret basic technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.
• Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
• Occasionally required to sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
• Must regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds; may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

• Unload, load, receive, unpack, stack, store, handle, locate, issue, deliver, and record all types and sizes of parts, pumps, materials, and supplies.
• Ship items off-system and prepare and distribute shipping records.
• Follow verbal and written instructions, and work from drawings, setup cards, charts, and tables.
• Maintain records of location, quantities, issues, dates, etc., using manual or data collection systems.
• Keep the working area, bins, racks, machines, and equipment in clean and orderly condition.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
