Set up and operate a variety of machines, including those controlled by tape, manuscript, or manual computer control, to perform operations such as milling, facing, drilling, reaming, boring, tapping, slotting, grinding, and turning. This role involves preparing parts for testing, performing inspections, selecting and setting up tools and fixtures, and operating supplemental machinery during automatic cycle times. The machinist will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment, preserving parts, and performing all duties with a focus on quality and quantity.
