Requirements

  • One-year technical or vocational certificate in General Mechanics or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in related areas of manufacturing, mechanics, or industrial equipment.
  • Knowledge of pneumatics and general mechanics.
  • Ability to read and interpret operating, maintenance, and safety procedures.
  • Basic knowledge of English and Spanish.
  • Ability to write reports and communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers.
  • Basic mathematical knowledge (fractions, percentages, ratios, and graph analysis).
  • Ability to analyze situations, solve problems, and follow detailed instructions.
  • Knowledge of cGMP-related training and requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Configure and operate manufacturing machinery, including printing machines, AMPLAS, and other production equipment.
  • Strictly comply with cGMP, cSOP, cGDP standards, and other applicable internal and external regulations.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical specifications, and tolerances to determine the correct sequence of operations.
  • Select, install, and secure tools, clamping devices, and workpieces in the machinery.
  • Adjust operating parameters such as speed, feed, depth of cut, and tool positioning.
  • Configure feeding and clamping devices to initiate manufacturing processes.
  • Operate the machinery, monitor its functioning, and verify that the product meets quality specifications.
  • Feed machines with raw material, perform 'foil' changes, die changes, and minor cleaning adjustments.
  • Assist Manufacturing Mechanics and Maintenance Technicians during preventive maintenance routines.
