As a Machinist I with PCB Piezotronics, Inc, you will work from drawings and/or written instructions to operate manual or CNC machinery and equipment to produce precision parts under direct supervision.
Requirements
- Basic Shop math skills
- Basic blueprint reading skills
- Basic mechanical ability
- General Knowledge of CNC/ Manual machines
Nice To Haves
- Machine shop experience
- Demonstrated problem solving skills
- Demonstrated experience in order of operations
- Ability to apply concepts of trigonometry
- Inspection measuring equipment exposure and/or knowledge
Responsibilities
- General knowledge of at least one work center and performs machinist functions at an entry level.
- Verifies conformance of finished work to ensure compliance to tolerance and company specifications.
- Ability to identify dull or worn inserts or tools.
- Makes tool offsets under supervision.
- Aware of required preventative maintenance.
- Learn to perform in-process inspection using precision measuring instruments.
- Performs other related duties as directed.
