Located in Livonia, Michigan, the company employs advanced CNC machining, gear cutting, grinding, and finishing technologies. They are seeking skilled machinists and apprentices to join their team.
Requirements
- CNC experience required
- Understanding of GD&T
- Ability to inspect quality and make adjustments to maintain specifications
- Demonstrated commitment to working safely
Nice To Haves
- 5+ years hands-on CNC/Machining experience, especially in aerospace manufacturing, in lieu of the education requirement.
Responsibilities
- Set up and safely operate CNC equipment
- Hold tight gear tolerances
- Monitor process to ensure product quality
- Perform inspections using precision measuring tools
- Maintain SPC documentation and production standards
- Perform polishing, cleaning, and corrosion prevention tasks
- Perform preventative maintenance actions for assigned machines
