EPTAM Precision Plastics is looking for a CNC Machinist C (3-Axis) - 3rd Shift to join their team in Northfield, NH. This position is eligible for a $2,000 sign-on bonus. The work performed supports technologies that improve lives around the world, manufacturing precision components used in the medical industry, including biopharma, molecular diagnostics, robot-assisted surgical systems, and implantable devices. The site employs over 285 engineers, production specialists, and quality professionals dedicated to solving complex plastic component manufacturing and CNC machining challenges. Its capabilities include 3-, 5-, and 7-axis machining, CNC turning, Swiss machining, milling, routing, sawing, and drilling, supported by over 10 probe and vision coordinate-measuring machines. Requirements

High School diploma, general education degree (GED) and/or trade school graduate preferred.
6 months experience in a manufacturing environment, operating manual and/or CNC equipment, or equivalent combinations of education and experience.
Demonstrated ability to execute the Essential Functions for this position.
Internships and PT experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

Operate various pieces of equipment to meet production requirements, primarily the Multus Machining center.
Use judgment to follow instructions with minimal choice in procedures.
Make suggestions regarding tooling and fixtures to increase efficiency and improve operations.
Load/feed machines as required to produce finished product.
Keep count of parts and maintain records.
Perform in-process inspection for dimensions of produced parts and maintain documentation.
Follow specifications and procedures for manufacturing, including process sheets, work orders, and special instructions.
Work on various types of equipment as assigned.
Properly handle all material, parts, and equipment to prevent damage and loss of finished product.
Relate to other people beyond giving and receiving instructions, get along with co-workers, and respond appropriately to supervisor feedback in a professional manner.
