About The Position

Join EPTAM Precision Plastics in Northfield, NH, as a CNC Machinist C on the 4th Shift (Weekend/Weekday). This position is eligible for a $2,000 sign-on bonus. You will be manufacturing precision components used in the medical industry, supporting technologies that improve lives globally. EPTAM Precision's Northfield facility, the company's headquarters, is a cornerstone of its North American manufacturing network, employing over 285 professionals dedicated to solving complex plastic-component manufacturing and CNC-machining challenges. This FDA-registered, ISO 13485-certified facility boasts advanced manufacturing capabilities including 3-, 5-, and 7-axis machining, CNC turning, Swiss machining, milling, routing, sawing, and drilling, supported by state-of-the-art coordinate-measuring machines. The team specializes in complex plastic and metal machining, material selection guidance, and design for manufacturability. Requirements

  • High School diploma, general education degree (GED) and/or trade school graduate preferred.
  • 6 months experience in a manufacturing environment, operating manual and/or CNC equipment.
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience accepted.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute the Essential Functions for this position.
  • Internships and PT experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

  • Operate various pieces of equipment to meet production requirements, primarily a Multus Machining center.
  • Use judgment to follow instructions with minimal choice in procedures.
  • Make suggestions regarding tooling and fixtures to increase efficiency and improve operations.
  • Load/feed machines as required to produce finished product.
  • Keep count of parts and maintain records.
  • Perform in-process inspection for dimensions of produced parts and maintain documentation.
  • Follow specifications and procedures for manufacturing, including process sheets, work orders, and special instructions.
  • Work on various types of equipment as assigned.
  • Properly handle all material, parts, and equipment to prevent damage and loss of finished product.
  • Relate to other people, get along with co-workers, and respond appropriately to supervisor feedback.
  • Identify quality problems in materials.
  • Properly utilize evacuation systems to minimize exposure to hazards.
  • Provide accurate and complete turnover from shift to shift.
  • Maintain good housekeeping and safe working habits.
