About The Position

This is a full-time Machinist 2 position at XL Machine in Three Rivers, working Monday through Thursday from 5 AM to 3:30 PM. The role involves operating CNC mills and lathes, interpreting blueprints and GD&T, and ensuring high-precision machining for challenging projects within a supportive, safety-first culture. Requirements

5+ years of experience as a CNC Machinist I or equivalent.
Strong knowledge of CNC setup and operation (mills and lathes).
Proficiency with blueprints, GD&T, and precision measurement tools.
Ability to work independently — including building fixtures and tooling.
Commitment to quality, precision, and safety.

Nice To Haves

Aerospace machining experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Review blueprints, work orders, and specifications to plan machining operations.
Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes, ensuring proper tooling, alignment, and calibration.
Interpret GD&T and use precision measuring tools to verify part accuracy.
Monitor machining processes, make adjustments, and replace tools as needed.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues to maintain quality and efficiency.
Perform preventive maintenance and maintain clean, safe work areas.
Document production data and communicate effectively across shifts.
