Responsibilities
- Undertakes adjustment and setting of specific equipment in order to carry out machining operations, based on a dossier and blueprints.
- Uses the appropriate machining tools.
- Machines pre-production items and prototypes, follows established controls to validate the first items manufactured in a production run.
- Looks for potential improvements to reduce wastage and keep within production time.
- Detects machining faults and seeks corrective actions.
- Ensures the required traceability (product/process), and reports on his/her work.
- Carries out first-level maintenance on equipment.
- Provides technical support and tutors new starts.
