The Advanced Technician Flowcell Machining is responsible for operating machinery to drill glass to specific shapes and sizes according to manufacturing work instructions. Responsibilities include setting up and adjusting cutting equipment (lathe, microscopes), monitoring the cutting process, inspecting the finished product for quality, performing routine maintenance, while adhering to safety guidelines. This position reports to the Director of Manufacturing and is part of the Hardware Manufacturing team located in Nicholasville, KY and will be an on-site role. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Setup, adjust, run, and maintain production equipment used in the manufacturing process Read and interpret blueprints and work orders for the different products Aid in problem solving through identification and resolution of issues, as well as supporting continuous improvement with machinery or production processes

Requirements

  • Minimum Education: High School degree or Equivalent
  • Minimum Years of Experience: 7+ years
  • Proficiency in operating machinery for precision drilling, measuring, and inspecting product
  • Ability to travel 75% to Miami, FL facility for on-going training and support in first year of employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in glass forming
  • Use of measuring tools such as micrometers and gauges

Responsibilities
