About The Position
The work of a Machining Technician at Mueller Refrigeration is performed in an industrial manufacturing environment. Mueller Refrigeration is a manufacturer of HVAC/R components (valves, fitting, protection devices). Product range includes ball valves, pressure relief valves, check valves, manifolds, and filter driers, built to high industry standards. Products are shipped from Hartsville, TN to customers and distribution centers throughout the US and internationally.
Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, operating multiple machines simultaneously
- Proven ability to work well in a team environment
- Attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality
- Excellent verbal, listening and written communication skills
- Proactive, positive attitude
- Quality and safety focused
- Ability to interpret basic blueprints
- Ability to measure parts accurately using calipers
- Basic computer skills

- Technical training preferred
Responsibilities
- Monitor the operation of brass forming CNC machinery
- Load raw materials, including brass rod and/or forgings
- Measure/gauge parts at least once per hour to ensure conformance to specification
- Coordinate with setup personnel in case of nonconformity
