Validate the functionality of software and controls features, including requirements execution and system-level testing. Collaborate closely with mechanics, instrumentation technicians, and operators. Plan, execute, and document machine-level software testing. Approximately 20% office-based and 80% hands-on in the shop or local field.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of relevant experience (internship experience accepted).
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering required; 2-year degrees not accepted.
- Troubleshooting (required)
Nice To Haves
- Data acquisition (desired)
- Hands-on experience working around heavy equipment, in construction, or on mechanical projects (e.g., cars).
- Experience with planning, executing, and documenting technical work, including data acquisition.
- Exposure to project management or directing day-to-day work with a team is a plus.
