About The Position

The Machine Technician is responsible for machine setup, repair, and consistent operation. The Machine Technician Trainee or Machine Technician 1 performs similar duties in a developmental role. Work is performed in a climate-controlled environment. The role involves mechanical troubleshooting, understanding customer quality expectations, and helping ensure that production output meets acceptable standards.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent.
• Attention to detail.
• Desire for continual learning and personal development.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Proficient in English.
• Ability to correctly wear and use personal protective equipment, including long sleeves as required.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including frequent lifting of 15–25 pounds, occasional lifting up to 50 pounds, repetitive upper-extremity tasks, prolonged standing, and frequent climbing of steps or ladders while working on elevated platforms.

Responsibilities

• Assist in ensuring process output meets quality standards.
• Review part quality with Inspector Packers to determine whether parts meet acceptable standards.
• Adjust machine settings as necessary to ensure parts meet acceptable standards.
• Receive ongoing training in machine setup and operation.
• Perform Inspector Packer duties when needed.
• Follow good manufacturing practices to ensure product safety.
• Complete production records as needed.
