About The Position
The Machine Technician 1 – E-Coat is responsible for preventive maintenance, daily cleaning, and general maintenance of paint equipment. The role includes troubleshooting and repairing equipment, making adjustments to maximize output, monitoring production lines, and operating equipment within the cell. The technician must maintain a steady work pace, follow safety requirements, and practice 5S.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience in a maintenance, mechanical, or technical field at Milwaukee Tool or a similar employer.
Nice To Haves
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Advanced mechanical skills.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot paint equipment.
- Repair and replace worn or broken components.
- Troubleshoot air pumps and regulators.
- Adjust equipment to maximize output.
- Perform titrations and make adjustments accordingly.
- Record pressure differences on gauges.
- Visually inspect gauges and other equipment.
- Change filters as needed.
- Monitor chains for excessive buildup and clean or replace them as needed.
- Operate all equipment within the cell.
- Monitor the lines and ensure each line is operating at 100%.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Maintain a steady work pace.
- Adhere to safety requirements in the work area.
- Practice 5S.
