About The Position

Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Machine Technician (Roll Mill) 2nd Shift at our Reno, NV location! The hourly rate for this position is $30.18 per hour + $0.50 per hour shift premium. CORE HOURS: 2:30PM - 11PM (Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times). Requirements

Candidates must reside within 50 miles of the work location to be considered for this position. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitations.

Able to operate machinery and presses safely
Able to read and accurately interpret and produce parts from blueprints and shop drawings
Able to identify different gauges and types of raw material
Able to work effectively and productively as member of a team with minimal supervision

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience confirming that parts conform to specs using measuring tools.
A minimum of 6 months of experience with forming or bending machines
A minimum of 6 months of experience reading drawings or blueprints

Responsibilities

Operate assigned machines/presses
Troubleshoot various machinery problems
Perform coil changes
QC and document all parts run on machines
Retrieve and enter data into SAP computer system
Verify inventory of components and supplies as needed to ensure efficient and timely production
Keep work areas clean and safe
Other various duties and responsibilities as may be assigned
