About The Position

The Machine Systems Integrator will be responsible for making various systems, applications, and platforms work together seamlessly and effortlessly with Aagard equipment. This role ensures that different software components, hardware, and networks can communicate and work together. The integrator will assess the overall architecture of systems to ensure that integration points are well-designed and functional, and will develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for system architecture, integration processes, and data flows. Additionally, the role involves effectively using middleware technologies and APIs to facilitate communication between diverse platforms, performing thorough testing to ensure integrated systems function as intended without conflicts or issues, and supporting system deployments, installations, and upgrades by verifying integration touchpoints interface as expected. Troubleshooting and resolving issues quickly is also a key aspect of this position. The role also requires engaging with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, present integration solutions, and ensure successful project delivery, as well as training internal and external customers on integrated technologies and gathering feedback to refine and enhance the overall solution. Providing support for field issues, system updates, and related troubleshooting is also part of the responsibilities.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field plus 3 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Strong understanding of integration patterns, APIs, middleware solutions, and communication protocols, including experience with RESTful services and message queuing systems.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python, with a solid foundation in software development best practices.
Experience with database technologies such as SQL.
Experience with Microsoft products including proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Willing to travel up to 30% and required to possess or secure a valid passport (with costs reimbursed by Aagard).
