About The Position
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Machine Shop Laborers for projects located in the Morris, MN area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $28-30/hour based on experience plus $100/day per diem for Travelers 60+ miles from the job site. Requirements
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Comfortable working with measurements and fractions
- Ability to safely operate or learn to operate forklifts and cranes
- Previous fabrication, machine shop, or industrial experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist with fabrication shop activities and machine shop work
- Help brake operators organize and handle parts
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints and dimensions
- Fabricate parts while maintaining precise tolerances
- Safely operate forklifts and cranes after completing required training
- Use a tape measure accurately, including 1/8", 1/16", and 1/32" measurements
- Convert feet to inches and fractions to decimals
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
