Machine Set Up Operator I
About The Position
In this role, you’ll play a critical part in setting up and operating a variety of machines to produce high-quality parts that meet exact specifications. Your day-to-day will include setting up and adjusting machines to meet tight tolerances and finish requirements, identifying materials and preparing machines for production runs, loading raw materials and ensuring proper machine configuration, troubleshooting setup, tooling, and production issues to minimize downtime, operating multiple machines simultaneously with efficiency and precision, inspecting parts regularly to ensure quality and accuracy, and following blueprints, work instructions (VA’s), and technical specifications.
Requirements
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and instructions
- Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Dependability, with consistent attendance and willingness to work overtime as needed
