About The Position

As a Machine Press Operator - Blanking in our Production department within the Blades business, your goal is to successfully set up and operate presses, mills and auto-forming machines to achieve specified formed blade dimensions. You can expect to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and gain a basic knowledge of quality assurance, engineering and manufacturing tools, terminology and concepts. Requirements

1+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
Must be able to work over time as needed during the busy season November – April (approx. 2 days per month)
Ability to lift 50 lbs
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to wear appropriate, required PPE

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent
Experience working as a press operator
Experience driving a forklift
Experience working with manufacturing quality checks and tools using a dial caliper and a height gauge
Experience working from drawings and samples
Knowledge of metal stampings industry
Can work independently and as part of a team
Is open to learning
Can multi-task
Has good communication skills
Can solve problems
