Responsibilities

  • Move and set up tooling and gather necessary tooling.
  • Apply parting agents onto tooling to remove parts from molds.
  • Lift upper mold sections from lower sections and remove molded patterns.
  • Measure and visually inspect products for surface and dimension defects to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments.
  • Perform cleaning and any additional minor adjustment to the machine.
  • Remove parts or tooling from machines after production runs are finished.
  • Set up and start machines, monitor their operations, and record operational data.
  • Position, align, and secure material against fixtures or stops on machine beds or on dies.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as required.
