About The Position

I.K. Hofmann USA has a need for Machine Operators in Kennesaw, Ga. This is a temp-to-full-time position. The role involves operating machinery to produce parts according to specifications, requiring knowledge of measuring tools and the ability to set up machine tools and materials. Operators will also be responsible for inspecting finished units for defects and studying sample parts based on schematics and blueprints.

Requirements

• Knowledge of measuring tools to include calipers, gauges, etc., is required
• Must be able to move up to 50lbs.
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position for some parts of the day
• Must be able to position oneself to access equipment, as needed
• Must be able to wear protective gear such as steel toed boots
• Are sometimes exposed to very hot or very cold temperatures. Workspaces may not be temperature-controlled.
• May have to get into awkward positions to reach cramped workspaces.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States for any company without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Machine parts to specs using machine tools such as lathes, shapers or grinders
• Responsible for the proper set-up of machine tools and materials into the machines, as needed.
• Measure, examine and test completed units for defects using tools
• Study and sample parts based off schematics, blueprints, etc.
