About The Position

Set up, troubleshoot, and maintain flexographic printing, bag converting, sheeting, and laminating machinery to produce paper packaging. This role requires a good work history and the ability to work first or second shift, Monday through Friday, from 6 am to 2 pm or 2 pm to 10 pm.

Requirements

Experience preferred in setting up and troubleshooting converting/printing machinery or similar processes.
Experience preferred with large rolls of paper or plastic.
Knowledge and use of various hand tools assigned including tape measure, screwdriver, wrenches, etc.
Good verbal and written skills required.
Basic Math required.
Maintain a safe working environment on production lines.
Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.
Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the use of PPE.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. on a daily basis.

Responsibilities

Set up and troubleshoot flexographic printing and converting machinery.
Monitor and keep machine supplied with paper, glue, and ink.
Inspect product to ensure materials, size, print, and quantities meet standards.
Keep the work area clean.
