About The Position

This role involves operating machinery on the 2nd shift (Monday - Friday, 2PM - 10PM). Responsibilities include setting up die sets, line plates, or line bars with necessary punch and notch details, and installing corresponding sheet metal operations. The operator will use various equipment such as saws, shears, press brakes, and computer terminals, and will also operate a forklift and perform hand forming of metal as needed. Training will be provided on the job, and other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Ability to interpret blueprints or bills of material
• Ability to be cross trained in other areas
• Ability to train on 1st shift for a period of time (Monday - Friday, 6AM - 2PM)
• Ability to use hand tools (e.g.: drill)
• Work on ladder(s)
• Solo lift up to 49 pounds regularly
• Team lift 50-100 pounds frequently
• Team lift more than 100 pounds occasionally
• Pushing/Pulling wheeled carts up to 400 pounds
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) while performing tasks

Responsibilities
