About The Position

The Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining production equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and accurate manufacturing. This role requires experience with industrial machinery, attention to quality standards, and a strong commitment to workplace safety. The Machine Operator supports consistent production output and equipment reliability.

Requirements

Experience operating and maintaining industrial or manufacturing equipment
Strong understanding of production processes and quality control
Mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to read work instructions and production documentation
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials weighing 25 lbs or more

Nice To Haves

Forklift experience preferred

Responsibilities

Set up and operate production machinery according to specifications and work instructions
Monitor machine performance to ensure quality, efficiency, and safety standards are met
Adjust machine settings to maintain optimal operation
Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality and production specifications
Perform daily routine quality checks and document results
Identify and report equipment defects, malfunctions, or production issues
Notify supervisors of machine downtime, maintenance needs, or quality concerns
Follow all machine safety procedures and operational guidelines
Ensure safety guards, devices, and controls are in place and functioning properly
Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
Maintain accurate production and output records
Assist with training new machine operators as needed
Keep machines, tools, and work areas clean and properly maintained
Assist with bi‑annual plant inventory counts
Follow all company policies and procedures
Perform other production‑related duties as assigned
