About The Position

As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for a variety of machine-specific functions. This role involves identifying, confirming, and prioritizing work, setting up machinery, performing tool changes and changeovers, loading programs, and conducting daily preventative maintenance. You will also be responsible for bunching, labeling, and staging parts, practicing exceptional housekeeping, and understanding lockout/tagout procedures.

Requirements

• Machine operator experience is required
• Blueprint reading skills
• The ability to understand and convert decimals and fractions
• Detailed oriented
• Computer skill
• Good communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Machine operator in coil manufacturer is preferred
• Forklift experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Identify, confirm, and prioritize work to be performed
• Set up machinery and perform tool changes as needed
• Perform changeovers
• Load programs/inputs into the machine control
• Perform daily PMs on machinery and equipment used
• Use proper tools on the machine
• Bunch, label, and stage parts for the next manufacturing process
• Perform and record daily preventative maintenance on machines
• Practice exceptional housekeeping
• Understand lock out, tag out
