About The Position

Cornerstone Building Brands is hiring a Machine Operator to provide responsive and efficient manufacturing support. The role involves completing work assignments and customer orders safely, accurately, and on time, while preventing damage to materials and products. The operator will inspect materials, products, machinery, tools, and equipment; assist with inventory management and ERP updates; help move inventory between workstations; and maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment. The role is based at 1913 Hutchings Ave., Ballinger, TX 76821. Base pay starts at $15.00 per hour.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or GED required.
Must be able to become certified to operate a forklift vehicle and overhead crane.

Responsibilities

Provide customer-responsive and efficient manufacturing support activities.
Complete work assignments and customer orders safely, accurately, timely, and without damage.
Assist co-workers and customers.
Inspect materials, products, machinery, tools, and equipment.
Assist with inventory management, including daily updates to the ERP system.
Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
Assist with moving inventory within and among workstations and areas.
Comply with safety requirements and use applicable personal protective equipment.
