Machine Operator - 1st Shift

About The Position

Innovairre is seeking a full-time Machine Operator who has manufacturing experience or is willing to learn. The role operates or assists with equipment in a direct mail manufacturing environment, with an emphasis on reducing cost-related errors, exceeding client expectations, and maintaining a safe workplace. The position works a 10-hour first shift from 5:00 AM to 3:00 PM. A $500 sign-on bonus is offered, and benefits begin after 60 days.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Demonstrated manual dexterity, mechanical aptitude, and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to install, maintain, and repair equipment while following safety guidelines.
Knowledge of predictive and productive maintenance systems.
Ability to stand for long periods, bend, and perform repetitive motions.
Ability to move and lift 25 pounds regularly and up to 40 pounds occasionally.
Ability to stand on concrete for 10–12 hours.
Willingness to work overtime when needed.
Reliability, punctuality, and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Willingness to learn, develop new skills, and be accountable for quality.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Adherence to safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and HazCom, and departmental SOPs.

Nice To Haves

Two years of manufacturing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain equipment.
Adjust machines according to job instructions.
Meet and exceed production standards while maintaining customer quality requirements.
Communicate job status and production concerns or issues during shift changes.
Follow safety policies and procedures.
Adhere to current standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Troubleshoot problems with minimal delay.
Communicate developing problems and corrective actions to management.
Respond urgently to equipment downtime to maintain production requirements.
Continue learning improved processes to increase production.
Facilitate teamwork among team members and between shifts.
Perform additional responsibilities as needed to ensure team success.
