Machine Operator - 3rd Shift

Captive-Aire is also known for the fastest and most reliable lead times in the industry. We are currently hiring for Machine Operators Muskogee, OK Manufacturing Facility. Schedule: Monday-Thursday 6:30pm - 5:00am. Some overtime required.
Requirements

- Ability to interface with modern touchscreen automated equipment
- Basic Microsoft Office/Windows knowledge is needed
- Capable of solving problems and using good judgment in making decisions
- Ability to read and work from prints, schematics, and technical bulletins
- Ability to read tape measures and use good rudimentary math skills
- Capable of lifting 50 lbs. and standing for long periods
Responsibilities
- Prepare machine for production by positioning and securing material
- Determine the sequence of operations by studying blueprints, specifications, and work orders
- Set up and maintain tooling in Turret Punch and Panel Bender
- Regulate machining speed and process by setting and adjusting controls
- Maintain specifications by observing operations; detecting malfunctions; inspecting parts; adjusting controls
- Resolve production problems by altering process to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources
- Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs
- Documents actions by completing production and quality logs
- Contributes to team effort working in other areas as needed
- Maintain an orderly and tidy work environment
