About The Position

Join our fabulous printing team in High Point, NC! This role involves operating the packaging system, monitoring its performance, efficiency, and quality. You will be responsible for equipment start-up, shut-down, and preventive maintenance. The position requires sampling and monitoring product quality, making necessary modifications, and troubleshooting performance and quality issues. You will also be responsible for replenishing materials, maintaining production records, and completing the production process by operating bindery/packaging equipment. This role supports the manufacture of personal products through a continuous production operation and requires an understanding of work methods, procedures, and various binding machines. The work is typically routine, though some discretion may be allowed, applying limited knowledge and expertise for short-term tasks and projects. Requirements

Minimum 0 - 3 years previous machine operating or production experience in a team environment preferred.
Average to above average mechanical ability helpful.
Manufacturing Environment - walking, standing, bending, twisting, grasping, reaching above and below shoulder, lifting up to 35 pounds on a regular basis and up to 70 pounds on occasion.
Must wear hearing protection on the production floor.

Nice To Haves

Previous machine operating or production experience in a team environment preferred.
Average to above average mechanical ability helpful.

Responsibilities

Operate the packaging system monitoring overall performance, efficiency and quality.
Perform equipment start-up, shut-down and preventive maintenance.
Sample and monitor product quality coming off the system, making modifications as needed.
Troubleshoot packaging system performance and quality problems, correcting them and stabilizing performance as they occur.
Replenish materials ongoing as materials are depleted.
Maintains production, efficiency and quality records related to the packaging system operation.
Completes the production process for printed material by operating bindery/packaging equipment.
Supports the manufacture of personal products through a continuous production operation, requiring an understanding of work methods and procedures as well as various binding machines.
Other duties as assigned.
