About The Position

Nordic Cold Chain Solutions, a family-owned business with over a decade of service, specializes in providing high-quality cold-chain solutions and products for the meal kit and pharmaceutical industries. They partner with clients to create custom solutions for temperature-controlled packaging and manufacturing. This role is for a dependable, resourceful, and self-motivated Machine Operator to join their 1st shift manufacturing facility in Omaha, NE. Full-time employees work 10-hour shifts Monday through Thursday, with Fridays off.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education (GED).
Ability to read, understand and write data in English.
Maintain good attendance record.
2+ years of previous machine operating experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., to stand, walk, twist and turn frequently.

Nice To Haves

Experience with fill line or packaging equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

Accurately set up machines and verify equipment is ready to start and complete the production cycle.
Monitor equipment and make adjustments as necessary for proper operations.
Operate equipment efficiently to meet daily production requirements and company efficiency goals.
Perform quality checks and maintain accurate and timely records to verify products are being manufactured to customer and company standards.
Help pack cartons with finished product.
May be required to do simple machine maintenance and repairs.
Maintain housekeeping standards, daily cleaning of machines and orderly production area.
Complete work order paperwork neatly and accurately.
Perform other duties as needed.
