About The Position
The Machine Operator works on the production floor, reporting to the Production Supervisor. The role involves safely operating production machinery and ensuring finished products meet food safety and quality requirements. The schedule is a 12-hour night shift from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM on a 2-2-3 schedule. The hourly rate is $24.90, plus a $1.50 shift differential.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in food manufacturing or general manufacturing.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a 2-2-3 schedule.
Responsibilities
- Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot production equipment to maintain continuous production flow.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized production area.
- Perform hourly quality checks, including verifying lot and sell-by codes.
- Maintain knowledge of processing specifications and electronic inventory tracking systems.
- Order and receive materials to support production needs.
- Perform sanitation, preventive maintenance, and basic corrective maintenance on production equipment.
- Complete required documentation.
