The Machine Operator role involves the fabrication of raw materials using various metal working machines in accordance with specifications, tolerances, and requirements to produce high quality woven wire products.

Requirements

Able to read standard tape measure.
Must be able to read, write and perform basic math calculations.
Strong mechanical aptitude.
High School Diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

Machine operator experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Interpret standard production drawings and job specifications.
Set up machines to specification for each fabrication job.
Fabricate raw materials using various metal working and cutting machines.
Inspect products to verify conformance to specifications.
Assure that all materials and supplies are available as needed in order to promote maximum efficiency for each work process and meet set productivity goals each day.
Detect and notify supervisor of faulty operation of equipment and/or defective materials.
Perform all tasks in accordance with safety including proper use of PPE as required.
Maintain clean and orderly work area.
