About The Position

WireCrafters, LLC, established in 1967, is a manufacturer of wire partitions, storage lockers, safety barriers, and other related material handling products. Starting pay is $20.50 per hour plus an additional $2.00 per hour for 3rd shift. Regular quarterly raises from 3 months until top out pay of $31.46 is reached in 2.5 years. Once at top out pay, employees will receive an annual cost of living raise. 1st shift hours are 6:45 am – 5:15 pm M-Th (overtime on Friday - depending on schedule) 3rd shift hours are 8:15 pm – 6:45 am M-Th (overtime on Friday - depending on schedule) After 90 days you will be eligible for benefits: GENERAL SUMMARY Fabrication of raw materials using various metal working machines in accordance with specifications, tolerances, and requirements to produce high quality woven wire products.

Requirements

Machine operator experience preferred but not required.
Able to read standard tape measure.
Must be able to read, write and perform basic math calculations.
Strong mechanical aptitude.
High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

Interpret standard production drawings and job specifications.
Set up machines to specification for each fabrication job.
Fabricate raw materials using various metal working and cutting machines.
Inspect products to verify conformance to specifications.
Assure that all materials and supplies are available as needed in order to promote maximum efficiency for each work process and meet set productivity goals each day.
Detect and notify supervisor of faulty operation of equipment and/or defective materials.
Perform all tasks in accordance with safety including proper use of PPE as required.
Maintain clean and orderly work area.
