Machine Operator
About The Position
Ascentec is hiring! We are looking for Machine Operators to join our team in Dallas, Oregon. This is an excellent "foot in the door" opportunity for someone with strong mechanical aptitude/skills and attention to detail. We like to grow our talent from within -- come get started with us and carve your own career path! Shifts available: Swing Shift: Monday through Thursday, 4 p.m. to 2:30 a.m.; and Weekend Day Shift: Friday through Sunday, 6 a.m. to 6:30. Both shifts come with an industry-leading shift differential. This position is on site (not remote/not hybrid) at our Dallas, Oregon facility and not eligible for Visa sponsorship.

- Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
Nice To Haves
- Trade school and/or at least one year of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
Responsibilities
- CNC setup and operation
- Teach tools, load programs and set/adjust work/tool offsets accordingly
- Read prints and inspect parts for conformance, typically +/- .005 tolerance
- Check parts using basic measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and depth gauges
