About The Position

Phillips Distilling Company (PDC) is seeking a full-time Machine Operator for its 1st shift. This role operates on a 4-day work week, Tuesday to Friday, from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The Machine Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of various production equipment, primarily packaging machinery such as case packers, case sealers, case erectors, and palletizers. The position involves close collaboration with team members to ensure line efficiency and high-quality product output. Key duties include monitoring supply levels, inspecting products for defects, completing documentation, and performing cleaning and light maintenance. The role also requires assisting on other line areas as needed, contributing to teamwork, and supporting continuous improvement efforts. All job responsibilities must be performed in a safe and conscious manner.

Requirements

Ability to read and write English.
Basic math skills.
Ability to use a computer.

Nice To Haves

Previous manufacturing experience.
Previous machine operating experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Operating packaging equipment including case packers, case sealers, case erectors and palletizers.
