About The Position

Lactalis US Yogurt is hiring a Machine Operator in Londonderry, New Hampshire. The Machine Operator is responsible for operational activities on an assigned production line, including safety, product safety and quality, line efficiency and performance, and ingredient usage. The role includes monitoring and adjusting production processes to meet Stonyfield product specifications, maintaining sanitation and housekeeping standards, and documenting ingredient consumption accurately.

The position follows a 12-hour overnight schedule from 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM. Week 1 is 48 hours: work Saturday, Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Week 2 is 36 hours: work Monday, Tuesday, and Friday. The role is full-time.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work a 12-hour schedule.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Solid written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work in a noisy area.
• Computer literacy.
• English proficiency, including reading and writing skills.
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines within specified time constraints.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to adapt to a changing work environment.

Responsibilities

• Promote personal and personnel safety on the assigned production line and recommend improvements to supervision.
• Ensure product quality and verify that production components meet Stonyfield standards, including white mass, fruit dosing, flavor injection, cups, lids, and cup and box codes.
• Monitor weight control, line checks, changeovers, start-up, shutdown, and other line processes.
• Ensure products meet specifications, make adjustments as needed, and report deviations to maintenance and supervision.
• Maintain housekeeping, comply with Good Manufacturing Practices, and respect production-line zoning.
• Ensure containers used in production have proper labels.
• Perform Clean in Place (CIP) for the assigned production line, ensuring thorough sanitation within the allotted timeframe.
• Accurately record fruit and flavor consumption for each SKU run on operator control sheets.
• Adapt to changes in the work environment and contribute actively to positive change.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
