About The Position

LeachGarner is hiring a Machine Operator to work on 1st shift. This role offers a 4-day workweek with hours from Monday - Thursday 4:30 am – 3:00 pm. Machine Operators are responsible for setting up, maintaining, and operating various machinery. The role requires attention to detail and adherence to safety standards to ensure production procedures are carried out safely and smoothly.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Experience working in a manufacturing production setting
• Attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds multiple times throughout shift
• Able to stand, walk and reach throughout the shift
• Ability to work with limited supervision
• Manual dexterity
• Visual acuity
• Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. constant use of protective equipment gear)

Responsibilities

• Set up machines to start a production cycle
• Control and adjust machine settings
• Feed product into machine
• Fix issues that might occur during the shift
• Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws
• Maintain activity logs
