About The Position

WEG is seeking an experienced production operator with mechanical aptitude and a strong work ethic for a serious career opportunity. The Machine Operator will perform a range of tasks in the production of transformers, including reading and understanding Bills of Materials, instructions, and drawings. This role involves operating a machine that makes coils for transformers and using a brazing torch to splice wire, while meeting quality requirements of the manufacturing procedure.

Requirements

  • Ability to work within the WEG Code of Ethics & Values.
  • Able to work over-time as needed.
  • Resides or plans to reside within reasonable commuting distance--no relocation assistance available.
  • Has current work authorization for employment in the United States.
  • Must complete: talent assessment, Job interview, pre-employment drug screen and background check.
  • Safety Sensitive position: Drug panel includes THC.

Nice To Haves

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Two years prior manufacturing experience.
  • ACT WorkKeys National Career Readiness Certification (NCRC): Platinum or Gold Level.
