About The Position

The Machine Operator operates the filler on an assigned production line, ensuring products are properly sealed and packaged. The role also involves pulling supplies and loading the filler throughout production. The position is scheduled for the first shift on weekends, Friday through Sunday, from 5:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., at a pay rate of $28.13 per hour. The facility is climate controlled.

Requirements

Basic mechanical aptitude and math skills.
Ability to read and write.
Ability to follow detailed directions and understand time, temperature, and weight measurements.
Ability to work cooperatively with a team.
Ability to maintain a clean and safe working area.

Responsibilities

Load the filler with the product lids, cups, and box labels required for production and packaging.
Operate the filler and production line as appropriate.
Read scales and perform arithmetic calculations quickly and accurately.
Provide product samples to the lab according to defined requirements.
Ensure proper product weights and metal detector checks.
Monitor required time and temperature conditions.
Clean and rinse equipment according to specified procedures.
Complete required daily documentation and reporting for equipment, supplies, and products.
Maintain company standards for cleanliness, food safety, and productivity in the processing area.
Support the production supervisor in maintaining continuous production.
