About The Position

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining manufacturing equipment to produce high-quality precision parts that meet customer specifications and production requirements. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, mechanically inclined, and committed to producing quality work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position plays a critical role in supporting daily production goals while maintaining efficiency, accuracy, and workplace safety. The Machine Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining manufacturing equipment to produce high-quality precision parts in accordance with production schedules, quality standards, and safety requirements. Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Technical, vocational, or trade school training in manufacturing or machining is a plus.
Previous experience operating manufacturing equipment preferred.
Experience in precision manufacturing, metal stamping, machining, assembly, or other production environments is highly desirable.
Experience using precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
Ability to read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, and production documentation is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Dependable, punctual, and committed to meeting production expectations.
Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
Frequently use hands and fingers to handle small parts and operate machinery.
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 40 pounds occasionally.
Ability to bend, reach, stoop, twist, and perform repetitive motions throughout the workday.
Sufficient visual acuity to inspect parts and read measuring instruments.
Ability to work safely around moving machinery and equipment.

Responsibilities

Operate assigned manufacturing equipment safely, efficiently, and in accordance with established procedures.
Read and follow work instructions, travelers, blueprints, and production schedules.
Load raw materials and unload finished parts while ensuring proper machine operation.
Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring equipment to verify conformance to specifications.
Monitor machine performance and identify quality or production concerns.
Perform routine machine adjustments and basic troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
Accurately complete production, quality, and inspection documentation.
Report equipment malfunctions, quality issues, or production delays to the appropriate supervisor.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with 5S principles and company standards.
Follow all company safety policies, PPE requirements, and standard operating procedures.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist in achieving departmental production goals.
Assist with training and mentoring new machine operators as assigned.
Perform other duties as assigned.
