Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to understand and interpret machine manuals.
- Basic math skills and ability to read and follow written instructions.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Previous maintenance, equipment repair, or industrial troubleshooting experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols.
- Report any safety hazards or concerns to the supervisor immediately.
- Operate production machinery, including but not limited to packaging equipment, conveyors, and material handling systems.
- Monitor equipment performance to ensure efficient operation.
- Set up and calibrate machinery according to production requirements.
- Adjust machine settings to achieve optimal output and quality.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues with machinery during operation.
- Collaborate with maintenance personnel to address technical problems.
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery as directed.
- Keep work areas clean and organized.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth flow of production.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and other operators.
