About The Position

As a Production Press Operator, you will support Bruderer stamping machines to ensure efficient production processes and high-quality output. This role is ideal for individuals looking to start their career in manufacturing and gain experience in a dynamic environment. The employee must be aware of potential hazards, including, but not limited to, working near moving mechanical parts, and limited chemicals. It's important to maintain a high level of alertness and caution while performing tasks in this work environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Willingness to Learn: Eager to acquire new skills and knowledge in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic Technical Skills: Understanding basic math; familiarity with hand tools.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to follow instructions accurately and notice small but crucial details.
• Teamwork: Capable of working collaboratively with others, following directions from more experienced colleagues.
• Communication Skills: Basic verbal and written communication skills; ability to ask questions for clarification.
• Adaptability: Willingness to adapt to new tasks and changes within the work environment.
• Safety Awareness: Understanding the importance of safety protocols and willingness to follow them.
• Must have legible handwriting

Responsibilities

• Assist in the day-to-day operations of the production line, helping to ensure efficiency and quality in the manufacturing process.
• Monitor production equipment to ensure it is functioning correctly. Report any issues or malfunctions to supervisors promptly.
• Conduct limited in-process quality checks on products to ensure they meet company standards and specifications.
• Ensure the production area is clean and organized, following all safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
• Assist in maintaining accurate records of production output, and material heat numbers.
• Follow detailed instructions from supervisors and participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge related to the production process.
• Work effectively, communicate openly with colleagues, and contribute to a positive work environment.
• Be willing to take on additional responsibilities as needed and adapt to changing production demands.
• Performs other duties as directed.
