Entry Level Machine Operator
About The Position

This is a full-time, direct-hire position with a complete benefits package. Opportunities are available on all shifts, with a $2/hour shift premium for 2nd and 3rd shifts. Overtime is available and often required. The company is willing to train individuals without direct manufacturing experience who are mechanically inclined, enjoy working with their hands, and seeing things created. People with experience in technical trades from different industries, light assembly, or individuals with a mechanical background/aptitudes are a great fit for this position. Requirements
- Mechanically inclined, & enjoys hands on work
- Solid work ethic, & team player.
- Must be available for and willing to work overtime regularly.
- Strong attention to detail, quality minded
- Comfortable performing some work of a repetitive nature
- Able to regularly lift up to 40 lbs, handle regular repetitive movements required in operations or material/part handling
- Able to stand for 8-10 hours per day, and walk as needed throughout a shift
Nice To Haves
- Some prior manufacturing experience strongly preferred, but not necessarily required; will consider individuals with strong mechanical aptitude and an interest in the trades
Responsibilities
- Performing routine manufacturing operations using secondary operations, and stamping press equipment
- Position will begin primarily focused on completing production/repetitive style work and progress into learning set-up operations
- Efficiently completing all assigned work to meet or exceed expected productivity or production rates
- Complete all part/quality inspection processes as needed (may be dimensional or visual inspections)
- Assist in parts packing/shipping and other secondary operations as needed for production/customer demand
