About The Position

The Machine Operator must be a highly motivated, self-directing individual who works great with others to perform duties in building and assembling screen doors/windows. The primary function of the Machine Operator is to run the roll form machine at standard rate while producing a high-quality part that meets the customer requirements.

Requirements

• Mathematical knowledge with use of decimals and fractions
• Ability to read and write
• Ability to interpret production prints
• Good judgement with minor process adjustments
• Ability to troubleshoot issues
• Able to work in a team setting

Responsibilities

• Follows all safety procedures, rules, and guidelines; and notifies the supervisor of any existing or potential safety issues.
• Visually inspect for defects or errors in materials.
• Operates hoist.
• Loads and unloads coils.
• Threads Machine.
• Change pre-cut dies.
• Performs associated paperwork, including daily job scrap reporting.
• Operates computer and bar code system.
• Perform related work as required.
• Responsible for attending work on time and for scheduled hours each day.
