3rd Shift Machine Operator Entry Level
About The Position
The Twister Operator safely patrols twister frames and carries out twisting and plying procedures. The role includes placing specifications on twisting frames and verifying product quality in the event of machine failure. The operator inspects for defective bobbins and repacks creel yarns into boxes using proper handling methods. They maintain machine cleanliness, follow the weekly TPM cleaning audit schedule, and complete paperwork and maintain records according to ISO standards. The operator may be asked to work in Creeling when needed and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 0–3 years of experience.
- Ability to work in a tight, confined area without damaging yarn.
Responsibilities
- Safely patrol twister frames and carry out twisting and plying procedures.
- Place specifications on twisting frames and verify product quality in the event of machine failure.
- Inspect for defective bobbins.
- Repack creel yarns into boxes using proper handling methods.
- Keep the machine clean and follow the weekly TPM cleaning audit schedule.
- Complete paperwork and maintain records according to ISO standards.
- Work in Creeling when needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
