About The Position
Taylor Metal Products is seeking a Machine Operator to join its Rolled Steel Products team. The role assists team members with manufacturing, packaging, and warehouse logistics to produce quality components that meet or exceed company standards and customer expectations. The position is Level 1 or 2 and is based in Spokane, Washington. It is a full-time day-shift position, scheduled 7 a.m.–4 p.m., Monday through Friday, at $18.00–$26.00 per hour, depending on experience.
Requirements
- Ability to operate hand tools and read a tape measure.
- Ability to take and follow verbal directions.
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must pass a background test and drug screening for safety-sensitive positions.
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and program computerized press-brake and roll-forming machines.
- Complete accurate production reporting.
- Handle materials and package products.
- Visually inspect products for quality and defects.
- Load and unload materials in the production department and customer service area.
- Operate hand tools and read a tape measure.
- Take and follow verbal directions.
- Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
