About The Position

Flextrades is hiring Machine Operators with 4+ recent years of experience for a 2-month Traveling Contract to Ohio. This position offers a pay rate of $28/hr with 50 hours per week guaranteed, including overtime over 40 hours. Additionally, a $45 per diem (tax-free) is provided 7 days a week, and private hotel accommodations will be booked by the company. References are required, and candidates must pass a background check and drug test. Travel time will be compensated.

Requirements

4+ recent years as a Machine operator in discrete manufacturing
Ability to manually operate machinery and manually complete assembly tasks.
Proficient in Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills
Proficient in Mechanical Assembly Skills
Must pass a background check and drug test

Responsibilities

Operating manual crimping or Hose Assembly machines.
Working in the crimping area in which steel fittings (a nut or socket) is being crimped onto the assembly.
Putting end fittings (which are crimped in the crimping area) on a hose with the aid of a machine.
Operating automated and semi-automated saws to cut hose to length.
Operating an 1 ton overhead crane as well as a jib/hoist when needed.
