Interact with Machining Line Production Supervisor/Team Leader for the purpose of safely operating equipment to make product that meets the Customer’s expectations while at levels of productivity that meet or exceed the established plan. Requirements

High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Manufacturing Machining experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Learn and perform skills including Safety, Productivity, Proper Machine Operation, Conduct Housekeeping/5S, and Quality.
Use documented procedures and instructions such as Standard Operating Procedures, Rework Instructions, Work Instructions, Preventive Maintenance Instructions, Inspection Instructions, Reaction Plans, Process Set-up Instructions, and the Associate Handbook.
Conduct Housekeeping/5S and review posted Work Instructions.
Review and verify the quality of products at their assigned process and provide feedback to Leadership.
Fill out inspection log sheets for assigned operations.
Rotate to appropriate operations as assigned by MLPS/TL.
Facilitate communications between operations within the assigned module, between modules, and between crews.
Provide relief to other employees as required.
Assist others with changeovers/setups as required.
Complete Operation Productivity & Scrap Accountability Logsheets and verify accuracy of total good and scrap pieces.
Provide feedback on process and operation.
Update the area communication board.
