About The Position

Milwaukee Electronics is seeking a Machine Operator to join their production team. This role involves operating and monitoring various production equipment used in electronics assembly, including SMT Pick-and-Place machines, Through-Hole Insertion equipment, Sequencers, Wave Solder machines, and Reflow systems. The operator will be responsible for setting up machines, monitoring production, identifying and correcting issues, and performing minor maintenance to ensure high-quality product output. The position offers a unique 3-night work schedule (Monday-Wednesday, 5:00 PM - 5:00 AM) with four consecutive days off, overtime pay for hours over 10 in a day, and a 10% shift differential.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 3–6 months of manufacturing or related experience preferred
  • Basic data entry and computer skills
  • Ability to read and follow English instructions and safety documentation
  • Basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
  • Ability to interpret performance graphs
  • Must be a U.S. person (U.S. citizen, U.S. nationals, lawful permanent resident, or individual granted asylum/refugee status in the U.S.) to comply with ITAR regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Read job specifications and set up machines accordingly
  • Operate production equipment with attention to quality and efficiency
  • Use computer programs to access and follow assembly instructions
  • Monitor machines to detect defects or malfunctions and correct or route as needed
  • Perform minor machine maintenance per documented instructions
  • Support continuous improvement and Lean initiatives
  • Collaborate with team members and contribute to problem-solving
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
